This dress was listed for auction recently by LacedWithRomance vintage on Ebay. (I LOVE their items, by the way). No sooner was it listed, than it was purchased using "Buy it Now". :o( I think this was supposed to be MY dress! That serves as a reminder to use the "Buy it Now" option if you can't bear to miss out on an item! Sigh ... oh well, still a stunner to look at so I will post photos for you to enjoy anyway...
I just sold a dress with similar sleeves to a customer in London, England ... it is SO hard to let garments this gorgeous go - I wish I could keep every one of them! In both cases, don't be surprised to see version(s) of these dresses on designer runways in the future. When avante garde vintage garments such as these sell, quite often they are used to inspire current designers.
